Vinnies Kitchen, Rosebud, VIC

Vinnies Kitchen in Rosebud is a non-profit organization run entirely by community volunteers. With no external funding, meals are served to between 18 and 60 people per day. Volunteers handle cooking, storage, and meal preparation. Meals include multiple options for vegetables, meat, and dessert, as well as tea, coffee, and chocolate. Free bread and other non-perishable foods are often available. Vegetarians and vegans are accommodated. Meals are served twice a week for lunch and three times a week for dinner, totaling over 134,000 meals served since inception.
