History The Village Jewellers opened its doors in our current Manuka location in late 1984 under the careful eye and guidance of Stelios and Margaret Sofoulis. The business grew steadily over the next few years and in 1986, Tony joined the business in a full time capacity after completing his Science and Gemmological studies. Tony took over from his parents in 2000 and has continued to expand and grow the business since. Luis, our senior jeweller, joined Village Jewellers in 1991 and has over 40 years’ experience in the jewellery trade, all of which allows peace of mind when you leave your valuable jewellery in our care for repaired or remodelled. Our service staff Nancy and Alicia, have been with us for 15 and 10 years respectively, and it is this continuity of staffing that has contributed to our enviable reputation for expert product knowledge and our friendly rapport with many of our long standing customers.
