Vickers & Hoad Pty Ltd is a Family run company devoted to the Auction industry. We conduct auctions based on a traditional code of ethics. Our aim is to achieve the best results for our vendors, by embracing the latest technology in the auction industry to help us expand our reach world wide. We are determined to make our mark on the worlds auction stage. Items we've received over the month are categorised and catalogued in preparation for sale. Our catalogue is posted online prior to the sale. Items are accompanied by images with illustrated online catalogues Alternatively a free printed copy of the catalogue can be obtained from our offices during viewing and on auction days. The term 'Antique & Collectable' refers to a large assortment of modern, vintage and antique ceramics, glass, silver, collectables, affordable art, jewellery, oriental art, furniture and miscellanea. The sale usually consists of 800+ lots. Exceptional pieces from the above mentioned categories constitute the Directors' Selection or Fine Decorative Arts. Items are selected for the Directors' Selection based on quality, rarity, age and condition. We also hold 'Special Interest' sales when the quantity and calibre of goods are available; These specialised sales have acheived remarkable results in the past, partly due to being broadcast live over the internet making online bidding possible from anywhere in the world.
