Tom's Towbars is a family run business that has been operating in Wangara for over 25 years, and are proud of the relationships built over this time with customers and local businesses alike. Director Tom Goldfinch began his career as a qualified Sheet Metal Tradesman and Welder in 1974. It wasn’t until 1986, that the decision was made to establish Tom’s Towbars at the original location in Baretta Square in Wangara. In 1994 Tom purchased land and built our existing premises up the road at 1 Pappas Street Wangara. Tom has been retired for the last 5 years, and now you will find his only daughter Carly working as Office Manager in this well established business. Our workshop has a wealth of experience, from qualified Vehicle Body Builders and Boiler Makers to Auto Electricians. So you can be sure of a high standard of workmanship. Now taking Tom’s into a new phase, Carly is undertaking refurbishments to the premises both internally and externally. This has begun with the installation of a new computer system and furniture in the Office, and the outside of the building is being modernised as we speak! To continue improving the business and its facilities, we have recently purchased a new state of the art Pipe Bender. This will not only help in the manufacturing of our existing products but will allow us to offer a broader spectrum of products. Customers return to Tom’s, because they are guaranteed to leave with a smile on their face for a great job done and money still in the hip pocket!
