At the Timber Slab Factory we have been collecting timber and creating one-off pieces of furniture for over 25 years. Our workshop and gallery, located at the historical site of Livingstone's Crossing, was once a local dairy. Here our small team of highly skilled craftsmen look out over the luscious green banks of Mullumbimby Creek while creating individual masterpieces for Australian and International clients. Each design is handcrafted on site using traditional construction techniques and finishes. We use dovetail and Mortise and Tenon joints, adding strength and beauty. Each piece is hand-sanded and polished numerous times giving it magnificent, clean, crisp colours, enhancing the lustrous grain. Attention to detail and pride of workmanship means you are assured of absolutely exquisite furniture that will last several lifetimes. Every piece so totally unique, you will never see another like it. For this reason we were selected to create the Seven Nations Spears for the Opening Ceremony in the Sydney Olympics and our clients include a Who's Who of celebrities, sporting idols and top Australian corporations.
