The Valley Cellar Door, Moonee Ponds, VIC

During a family dinner and over a bottle of red...or two, Mark convinced Tony that the wine industry was a lucrative one and naively Tony believed him! Hence in May 2010 the doors opened at The Valley Cellardoor Moonee Ponds offering wines, craft beers and ciders. The space was tight so there was no kitchen. The Valley Cellardoor BYO food policy was introduced to Moonee Ponds, which caught on very quickly. Early in 2014 the brothers acquired the space available next door, almost doubling their seating capacity to 140 patrons. Extra space also meant more wine (now more than 400 on offer), craft beer (over 150 in the fridge) and ciders (roughly 20) to choose from. Plus an open plan kitchen was installed. The offering is simple but of high quality...and yes it is still a BYO food venue! All our wines and beers can be purchased to take home. Come have a look at Mark's range of wines and Tony's beers.
