The Salvation Army Employment Plus (Browns Plains

This service is disappointing, unprofessional, staff are at times rude and shows no compassion or regard for the individuals circumstances, i have heard from staff that the funding for this organisation is for groups only and if you have an individual question to ask you must make another appointment - your individual concerns can not be addressed during this group time. Each time i go for an appointment i am given different information about my requirements depending on who it is i see - there is no consistency and the staff do not seem trained with appropriate knowledge, i am left confused and stressed with no clear guidance or accurate information - very frustrating. I believe a job service provider should take in interest in their clients and talk with them on an individual level to achieve positive lasting outcomes for their client instead of grouping them all into one basket and sitting them in front of a computer with no interest, knowledge or empathy about the individual person or their employment goals.

Unprofessional and highly Complacent "Service" I signed up for their employment services in August but not after having my initial appointment forgotten. I was in the office waiting to be called for the sign up appointment. Being ignored by everyone who was free; i actually rung up the customer support line 20 minutes into my wait to ask why nobody in the office was serving me at my appointed time, to which the man on the phone emailed the area manager asking who then prompted someone to get off their ass and do their job. When i signed a contract with a job coach by the name of M*** F*****, she told me that i would be contacted regarding a fortnightly meeting and any compulsory job interviews they might have for me. Since signing the contract and filling in a pre-employment survey on their website twice, i have heard absolutely nothing from M*** or anyone from Employment Plus. Keep in mind that i am a job-seeker that's currently not receiving any form of benefit from centerlink so i don't exactly have the luxury of going out whenever i please, what limited money i do have goes straight toward going out and looking for work myself. Today on the 30th of September 2015 i emailed M*** to ask why i have not received any contact and her response was that she had moved out of the Browns Plains office 2 months ago (why i was never notified is beyond me). I then went into the Browns Plains office to ask why i haven't been contacted about any jobs or meetings since sign up, the lady who spoke to me (not wearing a name badge) tried to talk me out of moving to another job service provider. This lady had the nerve to talk down to me while another man at the same desk kept grinning every-time i said something as if to insinuate that i was making a fool of myself for passively accusing them of not helping me in the way that was originally stated. After a dispute over the contract i asked the lady to pull up my file from record, turns out that M*** F***** never filed the contract that i signed (i have my own copy to prove that i did in fact sign it). These people are very complacent and have no regard for the mental health of underachievers who come to them for help. I have PTST and find it difficult to associate with people who show me no compassion or respect, it just makes me feel even more helpless about my own position in this world.
