The Base is an incredible venue for community events! I’ve been hosting my public talks and movie nights here for over a year, and it’s always a fantastic experience. The staff is friendly and supportive, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The space itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere, with plenty of greenery and cozy seating. With a capacity of up to 100 people, plus a stage and projector, it has all the essentials for a great event. Highly recommended!

Description
The Base Health is an integrated mental health services and community centre located in Newcastle with a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians and non-clinicians, including psychologists, counsellors, social workers and therapists. Services include couples therapy, family therapy, mental health occupational therapy, specialised complex case consultancy, parenting education & support, mental health social work, dietician, group therapy. We also offer a range of somatic and expressive therapies, including dance therapy, art therapy, play therapy, yoga therapy, adventure and nature therapy
