Stuffed Spud The, Dalkeith, WA

The Stuffed Spud was formed in July 1992 and commenced trading at the Perth Royal Show in September 1992 using a metre transportable kitchen. Interest generated from that successful opening resulted in the "Spud" attending several metropolitan agricultural shows and trade exhibitions. To facilitate greater mobility an additional purpose built caravan was commissioned and commenced trading in October 1993. This unit allowed greater flexibility and a number of country shows were attended. The original kitchen can serve up to 500 meals an hour while the more mobile unit can serve up to 350 meals an hour.
