Stay Upright is a wholly Western Australian-owned company based in Balcatta, in the northern suburbs of Perth. The company offers motorcycle riding instruction to riders in the northern suburbs of Perth. Stay Upright’s riding instructor has over twenty five years’ experience instructing motorcycle riding techniques. Categories of training Stay Upright Motorcycle Riding School provides include:
• R-N - Moped
• R-E - Up to 250CC
• R - Unlimited
• PLUS – Advanced motorcycle riding technique.
Stay Upright uses a fleet of motorcycles and mopeds of various engine sizes, carefully selected for their balance and ease of control. Instruction commences in a private car park, preparing the student for safe use of the public roads.
Stay Upright Motorcycle School instruction includes
• A thorough grounding in the use and control of the motorcycle, • Safe use of the brakes and stopping the motorcycle, • Roadcraft – riding in such a way that the rider’s presence, position and intentions are plainly discernible to all other road users in the vicinity.
Stay Upright teaches confident, safe motorcycle riding to riders of any age. Its techniques are applicable to all motorcycles, and have proved capable of assisting students over difficult aspects of motorcycle control.
