Starkey & Christoe was founded in 1947, over 60 years ago and we have been in continual operation from that very first day making fine furniture, kitchens and vanities just to name a few. We still have furniture made from that era in use today and from time to time we get a call from a customer that's had one of our cabinets that dates back to the 50's. Richard Challenor (Owner) started as an apprentice in 1980 and worked his way through all the levels of his trade to finish as a first class tradesmen, when the opportunity arose he went on to purchase the company in 1986 when Cyril Starkey retired.With Richard's extensive history in the industry and better than 60 years of customer service built into our fabric it's only natural that Richards two sons, Mathew and Brad wanted to join in and continue operating the business with the same enthusiasm as Richard. Starkey and Christoe are a Cabinetmaking business located in Lawnton and are dedicated to supplying a quality product that offers great value for money. We believe we offer a level of expertise unmatched in the industry; Starkey and Christoe value our staff, our commitment to our customers and our ongoing dedication to improving our products. We have first-hand knowledge in Cabinetmaking, French Polishing, 2 Pack Polyurethane finishes, Natural Granites, Marble and the popular Reconstituted stone surfaces. We have worked with many different types of finishes including Timber, Corian, Glass, Stone and today's modern cabinet materials. We have been designing and building projects including kitchens, bathrooms and vanities for the past 25 years.
