Our story is a little unconventional. We created Solve Accountants because we recognised a growing need for business accountants who really understand business and the people behind it. We also know business people need business accountants who are accessible, they can talk to, and who are genuinely invested in their success.

Meet Solve Accountants’ founder
Established by Michael Binnie, Solve Accountants was born out of necessity. Because Michael does things differently, it’s no surprise his pathway to accounting was nontraditional. With hands on family business experience consolidated by time in the ‘Big 4’ accounting environment, Michael understands business owners want more than compliance and box-ticking from their accountant. The problem is that often they don’t get the trusted advice, ready access or interest they’d like from an important business advisor.

With a clear vision to do things differently, Solve Accountants is evolving business advice and accounting. Under Michael’s leadership, we’re growing a team of business advisors who understand accounting is more than theory. It incorporates real, lived experience gained by making informed decisions in the ever-changing business environment.
