Our vast knowledge and experience over many years benefit those wanting more than a trip that clocks up kilometres and tired legs. With over 10 years experience you will feel confident to relax, enjoy and of course immerse! Solo Bike was founded by Darren Welch and Kerri Layton in 2002. Both share a passion for Italy & France, the culture, people, and in particular the food and wine, add to this an idyllic cycling environment and you have a cyclists paradise. To immerse is our approach to cycle travel in Italy, France, Australia and New Zealand. With our combined sports science backgrounds and work with both professional athletes and corporate companies along with our backgrounds of both having been internationally competitive athletes we provide our clients with a strong knowledge base for their trip. We also thoroughly love good food and wine and our biggest complaint is our trips have too much of both!
