Simona is a privately owned family business renowned for showcasing timeless designs, sophisticated style, superior cut and outstanding quality for Australian woman. Founded in 1963 by Inge and George Fonagy, Simona is one of Australia’s most established fashion houses. During 1970’s, Inge’s children John and Deanne Recek joined Simona shortly thereafter by John’s wife Geraldine. John currently operates as the Managing Director and Gerry is the Sales Manager for Simona. During 2004 and 2008, daughters Jackie and Kelly Recek began at Simona in the design and retail departments. Now spanning over three generations Simona is continuing the tradition of creating beautiful, classic garments for women of all ages. The Simona Group encompasses three brands each offering their own unique style that fit individuals’ lifestyles.
