A multi-trade family company The business began with Ian Short, the Managing Director who is a qualified Carpenter and Joiner. In 1980 he diversified and began the glazing division followed by the lock smithing section in 1984. He recognised the need for a one stop business which could assist his customers in all areas of security and repairs. In order to achieve his aim he gained the necessary experience to become a qualified glazier and locksmith and is a member of the Glass Merchants Assoc and a Master Locksmith. In 1994 the business branched into the supply & installation of security doors- first with Deadlock Security (the original B&D securadoor) and later in conjunction with MULTILOCK security doors. Both these products were at the high security end of the market and offered the strength of steel to the customers. "No job is beyond our reach.." Michael joined Ian in 2007 making this company an all family business. Michael is a qualified glazier with many years of experience in the after hours emergency repair area of the glazing industry. Together Ian & Michael have began specialising in the installation of larger shopfronts for major shopfitting companies both here & interstate. With the addition of the mini crawler crane and specialised glass sucker unit no job is beyond our reach. The crane has proved to be an invaluable asset when glazing heavy and difficult shopfronts.
