Company description
Seafarm is located at Cardwell in North Queensland (approximately 165km north of Townsville) and is Australia's oldest and largest operating prawn farm. Cardwell's Farm 1 was established in 1988 with 48 ponds on 58 hectares and Farm 2 was established in 2000 with 62 ponds on 70 hectares. Located adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park; Crystal Bay Prawns are cultured using the pristine seawater from the world heritage listed Hinchinbrook Channel.
