A brief history of Royal Guardian Royal Guardian Mortgage Corporation (RGMC) was established as a Mortgage Manager and Originator in August 1998 by Anthony Tomazin. Anthony has over 20 years experience in the finance sector, firstly as a credit manager with a credit union and then as a highly successful Mortgage Broker prior to founding Royal Guardian. Initially, Royal Guardians core business was predominately direct sales with an introducer and referrer network, and loan volumes grew quickly due to the excellent products and outstanding service provided by Royal Guardian. In March 2001 a wholesale division, was established to deal with Financial Planners and Accountants, with this wholesale program later expanded to deal with brokers and introducers who showed potential for high growth. With all this growth came a need for larger premises, and in 2003 Royal Guardian relocated our Head Office from Campsie to larger custom fitted out purchased premises in a modern multi storey office building in Burwood. Our continued excellence in service and products has seen Royal Guardian receive numerous industry awards by Your Mortgage Magazine, Money Magazine, Personal Investor Magazine, Cannex and Mortgage Professional, Australia. Of these, the highlight was receiving Winner - Best Non Bank Lender of the Year 2007 by Money Magazine. The industry has changed a great deal since 1998, and despite the massive global changes that have affected the finance industry throughout 2007 and 2008, Royal Guardian is still focused on the same two key strategies that made us one of the best and largest non-bank lenders in Australia. Our focus on a comprehensive and competitive product range and continued excellent service to our clients remain the key ingredient in ensuring our continued success.
