Description
In 1852, young adventurer Thomas Ritchie was shipwrecked off the coast of Australia. In his first years in Australia he faced enormous personal challenges. Undeterred, the budding entrepreneur went on to found the well-known Ritchies General Store in Frankston.
This is the story of Ritchies supermarkets, the history behind the stores, of the inspirational men and women who took the baton from Thomas Ritchie, and developed Ritchies into the flourishing and community-based enterprise it is today.
