They say anything to sell. Delivered the car completely disgusting, not cleaned, full of mud everywhere. They said to send the 15-month warranty through email and never sent. After 7 months I have to pay the same amount to buy the car, for repairs. Asked to the warranty be sent and they reply that they get rid of them which is surprising! How can you eliminate a warranty before its end time? Very dodgy, deceiving and the cars are full of issues. The customer service is another joke, and they do not accept their responsibility. I'm proceeding with legal action.

Honest Review <DO NOT PURCHASE ANY CARS FROM RISING SUN MOTORS> I went here fresh from another country with no knowledge of Roadworthies / Write-Offs. I had indicated that I needed a car that worked. This car ceased after 5 weeks use. I am urging all of you to do the following with this car yard Rising Sun Motors. Dodgy Road Worthy cars This car yard handed over a vehicle that should not have passed roadworthy due to structure/chassis damage. I told them my findings and through their mechanic (A Class Auto Repairs) they fixed the structure damage (I have pictures of the problem). Technically they still broke the law. Write Off cars Enquire about the car's history particularly if the car has write off history. Ask for servicing books. Ask if it had any minor or large repairs. When i purchased this car the sales person did not verbally indicate if the car was written off in its past and it did not show a data sheet showing specs or ex write off information. Rather a tick was placed on the paperwork when it was handed over to me. Tom didn't clearly explain that part and has an obligation to state it. Communication Poor ability to make contact with customers who have ceased or wrecked cars. You will need to proactively reach out to them. I’ve myself repetitively made contact attempts and either defaults to voice messaging or they just don't pick up the phone. Caryards mechanic This yard relies on A Class Auto Repairs and they did the repair on the structure and did not provide a VIV/VASS Certificate or any documentation after the repair. Was not until I had to go away and research the process more in depth that I realized they had to provide this info. Sourcing of their cars The cars they sell are immensely cheap with a few exceptions. Where are these people getting their cars? Enquire about the car you are interested in purchasing. Ask them where they got the car from and how much they payed for that vehicle. History of unhappy customers Take a look at the google ratings (other sites show bad reviews) and you will clearly see a long history of angry people. I regret that I did not look at these ratings before purchasing from this yard. I suspect there are more people who have purchased from this yard but have not spoken up online. Ask lots of questions The moment the purchase is done and you hand over money is the moment they don't care. So make sure to ask lots of questions about the vehicle. Test drive it. Question the Timing Belt. Question the tyres/battery. Open the front and look through the engine. Ask about its history. Get it checked by RACV You don't need to be a member to get this car checked. The one off fee is worth it. You don't want to drive a car that breaks in rush hour traffic so getting these people over to check the vehicle will save you heart ache down the road. Look closely at the Data Sheet All car yards need to provide a data sheet of the vehicle on the window. They did not display a data sheet on the window when I purchased the car. Dealers real names The yard salesperson tom and the yard mgr con dont seem to want their surnames disclosed. These people have not indicated anywhere their full names. I have checked the paper work and googled them. It is a mystery who they really are. That is a red flag. Conclusion Do not purchase any vehicles from this car yard Rising Sun Motors or get any mechanical work done through A Class Auto Repairs.
