With a nursing background spanning 30 years, my practice is built on the basis of personalised, professional and prompt care. I first became interested in breastfeeding through the Nursing Mothers Association, now Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA), just before the birth of my now grown-up sons. I soon realised that breastfeeding was a skill learned by both mother and baby, and went on to become a breastfeeding counsellor and then lactation consultant. Twenty-two years later, I'm still helping mothers and babies. “My passion and privilege is helping mums achieve their breastfeeding goals by providing quality information, assessment and support.” In recent years I became aware of the power of Bowen therapy, a gentle, holistic health treatment, which can improve health and maintain wellbeing for everyone from newborn to elderly. My lactation consultancy has now expanded to offer Bowen therapy, which I believe has a perfect synergy. Because of the growing demand and popularity of Bowen Therapy as a complement to traditional medical care, much of my time is now devoted to providing Bowen treatments to people of all ages and stages. Gold standard in Lactation Consultant certification (IBCLC ) held with the IBLCE International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners continuously since 2003.
