Do not Hire Nick from Real Plastering because Nick will definitely screw you over for REAL. He undercut everyone else and gave the cheapest quote to get the job. Once he got the job, he changed his quote by saying that the brickwork was really bad and that it needed to be done three times which was a total lie as he had been to the job site before he had started the job and had never mentioned anything. He also charged me extra by under quoting the meters and once he got the job he over charged me by invoicing me for extra meters of walls that did not exist. He also said that he had missed an entire 2 bedroom unit which were on the plans that I had emailed to him for quoting and he had also been to the job twice for quoting, but somehow he had missed an entire two bedroom unit. He invoiced me for the whiteset which I paid but when I went to the job I found out that he had not done the whiteset. When I called him, he said he had a family emergency in Victoria and that he was stuck there due to coronavirus lockdown. I found out that he was lying and that he was in Perth. He stopped responding to my calls and texts and then blocked my calls. His stole tools and materials from the building site and I have reported the matter to police and I am taking legal action against him. My job was delayed by 10 weeks and I was out of pocket by $11000. His quote was for $21000, then went up to $26000. I paid more than $18000 and all he had done was the upper floor units float and set, float to stairs and 2 ground floor units. None of the stores were done, the frontage was not done, the alfrescos ceiling whiteset was not done, the front two units were not done either. I had to pay $13000 to finish the job and was delayed by 10 weeks. His original quote of $21000 ended up costing me $32000 which was $12000 more than both his original quote and other quotes that I had. I have referred the matter to my lawyer, the building commission and consumer protection.. Do not Hire Nick even if he does your job for free
