Queensland Cotton Corporation Ltd (Newstead Qld), Fortitude Valley

Queensland Cotton is one of the better company's I've every worked for. The pay is splendid, and where I last worked the people were very nice, let me take some time off to see my daughter in the holidays, and were very easy going and friendly and seemed to actually care about their workers. However, that's not the same at the Collymongle Gin 114 kms west of Moree. Most of the managers and full time workers there are arrogant assholes, could not care less about their seasonal workers, extremely impatient and a few of the workers worked their 21st birthdays, and time off was hard to get. That place is a hole! Each and every seasonal worker that worked with me couldn't wait to leave. I'd never go back! But my opinion was changed when I went to another gin of theirs. Good people, good conditions, considerate and patient managers, and no anal bureaucracy.
