People for Plants was born on a family farm nestled on the banks of the Hawkesbury River near Windsor, on the outskirts of Sydney. Anna Addicoat and Andrew Brown were excitedly expecting twin girls but physically struggling with the pregnancy – Anna’s skin was dry, itchy irritated and sore. Determined to find a truly natural option and acutely aware of ingredients and foods to avoid while pregnant, Andrew worked with a friend who is an expert in organic ingredients, to create soothing balms customised with pure certified organic shea butter.
