Terrible service

I Purchased a Samsung 1TB Hard drive from the Wollongong Branch in August 2010. It now is failing (according to SeaTools, Samsung's diagnostic system) and has a 3 year manufacturer warranty. When I went to return the hard drive (with a receipt) and request a new one, they refused to deal with me, saying that it was my problem and that they only offer support for the first year. They then attempted to charge me a fee for honoring the warranty on my behalf. By my understanding of the new ACCC guidelines, this is illegal. I would not recommend using them for anything.
