Pacific Wholesale Foods, Derrimut, VIC

Bought a 6pk Palm corned beef Fri 20 March. No receipt given so I asked for one. Got home checked it I was charged $25.99. I have been this store about 3 months, the price for this item was around $17.00, an increase of $8.00. For a three months period any price increase should not be this much. I also bought a tray of coconut buns last year which normally sold for $12 but the old guy at counter charged $14. I did not know until I saw the same buns by the same supplier, at a similar shop in Fitzgerald Rd Laverton, sold at $12. There have been few rumours lately that the Pacific Wholesale Foods in Derrimut is ripping people off. Shoppers always ask for a receipt and make sure, for example taros, you know exactly how much a kilo they are charging you. The receipt does not show the price per kilo. Same as the cooked meals as they are charged by weight.
