I bought a straw broom, in Geelong, and as I carried it out to the car, realised that the handle was too fat for my hands. I thought that my husband would find it OK ,but he too finds the handle too thick. He is 6ft 2 inches tall and has average sized hands. It would be the first time this has ever happened ,and he is 77. Maybe a slimmer handle in future, as we can`t afford to throw the broom away. As he is a handyman and a timber merchant, I`m sure he will fit a thinner handle to this lovely new broom in due course. With thanks, Cambria & Cliff Parkinson, Anakie Vic.
