Not impressed by the driver of a Windscreens O'Briens truck that almost sideswiped me on the West Tamar Hwy at the Ecclestone Rd lights yesterday at about 1:40 pm. I was approaching the intersection when the lights turned green, just to the left of the left lane, a car in front of me just turning left in the far left turning lane. And the truck flashed through on my right. The driver was obliged to leave 1.5m space between us. It was far less. It was dangerous. They went through as if I wasn't there. If I had deviated to the right (e.g. gust of wind, puncture, to avoid a rock), Iwould have probably been killed. To allow 1.5m, you have to use the right lane or slow down and wait til you can. I have the registration number. If I had video I would have submitted it to the Police. That's what we did after a similar incident a few weeks ago.
