Nortec Employment and Training Ltd, Tweed Heads South, NSW

NORTEC came about as a result of the merger between TTEC Enterprises (who had been a part of the Tweed community since 1979) and Ballina Skills and Development Centre (BETC), based in the Northern Rivers region since 1986. Both companies began out of a desire to create employment opportunities and economic growth in our local region. At NORTEC, we strive to ensure all activities impact positively on the community's social and economic wellbeing through adhering to ethical and sustainable business practices and through investing our resources into activities, projects and programs of community benefit. NORTEC is a not-for-profit organisation so we invest funds from our commercial enterprises to support the delivery of NORTECs community programs, social enterprises initiatives, small business support and communtiy grants & sponsorships. These activities assist us to positively contribute to social and economic growth for communities in our region.
