January 2nd, 2014 marks the first operating day of the new Noosa Library Service, under the new Noosa Council. Our aim is to continue providing the fantastic library services that our customers value with an added focus on services relevant to local communities. The Noosa Library Service includes Noosaville, Cooroy and the Mobile Library as well as the online eLibrary. Some things changed on opening day, some things won't change at all, and a few things are about to change. The final phase of separation from Sunshine Coast Council will occur in late March. Once this is complete, library members will receive a new membership card for use at Noosa Library Service branches - Noosaville, Cooroy and Mobile Library.
