Nina's Chocolates manufactures award-winning handmade chocolates and gelato. Nina’s creates over 150 different fine handmade chocolates, using the best ingredients including Belgian chocolate to produce a “wow” taste sensation in the form of fresh cream/liqueur truffles, pralines, and soft-center creams just to name a few. Nina's has won over 100 awards in local and Australia wide competitions. They also specialise in festive lines, novelty chocolates, wedding bonbonniere and corporate gifts. Nina's also feature award winning gelato and sorbet cakes, which are on display at their boutique store. Nina’s Chocolates supply their handmade chocolates throughout Australia to select major retailers (David Jones & Thomas Dux), numerous chocolate speciality stores, leading hotels, restaurants, caterers and corporate clients. Nina’s Chocolates is a family business started by George and May Magganas in 1995. The business was named after their daughters Nicole and Natalie. George who is a Food Technologist with over 35 years experience in the food industry, has always had a passion for handmade chocolates. May, who is an Accountant has brought her expertise to the business and together with a great team of talented and dedicated staff have created a successful business based on their shared passion for handmade chocolates.
