National Fire Solutions (NFS) provides a complete range of fire protection services throughout Australia, with offices in Canberra, Regional NSW, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. NFS was originally founded in the Canberra region in April 1999, and has grown to be the region's largest provider of fire protection installations, products and services. Organic growth within NFS saw our branch locations grow from our head office in the Canberra region, to Wagga Wagga servicing Riverina region of NSW, to Wollongong servicing coastal NSW, and then to Brisbane Qld. In 2006 NFS commenced implementation of its national expansion initiative that has now seen some of the leading independent fire protection companies around Australia merge with NFS to create one of the largest and most technically advanced national companies in the Fire Protection Industry. In May 2013, Tyco Fire & Security Australia, a Tyco (NYSE:TYC) company, completed the acquisition of National Fire Solutions Group. NFS was combined with Tyco's Fire Services business in Australia and now reports as part of Tyco's Rest of World Systems Installation & Services segment.
