Mulgoa Quarries Mulgoa Quarries Pty Limited is a multi faceted company. Mulgoa Quarries has conducted business primarily in the Sydney Metropolitan area for over 40 years. During this time the company has developed and diversified from its clay and shale quarrying roots into all aspects of Civil Engineering specialising in major bulk earthworks, controlled filling and remediation projects. Mulgoa Quarries Pty Limited is privately owned and currently has a workforce of over eighty personnel, owns and operates fifty items of earthmoving equipment and twenty 32tonne payload Truck and dog trailers. All activities of operation undertaken by Mulgoa Quarries are completed with the OHS&R compliance coverage provided by our Contractor Safety Management Plan. This system has been developed specifically for Mulgoa Quarries to ensure its compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation including the Mine Health and Safety Act/Legislation. Mulgoa Quarries Transport Fleet is NHVAS (National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme) compliant for Basic Fatigue Management and Maintenance Management. Testament to Mulgoa Quarries expertise and capability are recently completed open market projects. Individual project scopes have included total excavation volumes of over 2 million cubic metres, off site disposal volumes exceeding 3 million tonnes, controlled bulk filling projects in excess of 1 million cubic metres. Individual contract values up to and exceeding $30 million dollars. We have a network of approved disposal sites for virgin excavated natural materials, either company owned or contracted, to compliment our association with the Blacktown Waste Service Licensed landfill facility for disposal of contaminated wastes.
