Montara Winery, located at Ararat in the historic Grampians wine region of Victoria, specializing in Chardonnay, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Riesling and offering all estate grown, vintaged and bottled wines including Jimmy Wines & Raven Park Wines it is an ideal introduction to exploring the many attractions of the Grampians region including visits to the other wineries, places to stay, maps of the local region, museums and art galleries and the spectacular Grampians National Park, Mount Cole State Forest and Langi Ghiran State Park.

Montara Grampians Wines is captivating with its panorama of plains, mountains, vines, and old-world charm of the Ararat gold rush days. Situated 200 kilometres west of Melbourne, with a dramatic backdrop of the rugged sandstone Grampians mountain ranges, it is a feast for the eyes and the spirit. Established in 1970, Montara is today owned by the Stapleton family. This dynamic group of six siblings has given Montara a youthful exuberance, where tradition meets a new era of winemaking. With Leigh Clarnette as chief winemaker, Montara continues to drive innovation and is demanding the attention of influential wine critics, including Jeremy Oliver and James Halliday. Montara wines are truly breathtaking.
