To become a professional photographer was a dream, I always imagined that the National Geographic Photographers had the best possible job in the world. My love for photography was only expressed as hobby until 2001 when I decided to do something positive and commenced a degree in photography. After years of study I felt confident enough to take a further step and Mirage Studio came into existence in May 2005. After being convinced by a friend to photograph my first wedding, (having sworn never to do this), I found that I absolutely loved it. Each wedding is a new challenge, especially as I am privelidged to be entrusted to record one of the happiest and important days of 2 peoples lives, but it also presents different opportunities and areas for me to express my art. Whilst my passion for landscape photography has never died, and it is still my love & main hobby, I find all areas of my work as equally exciting. To photograph a new born baby, a young couple in love, an older person showing the march of time, or just a person wanting to express their own individuality, it is always a new challenge, and also loads of fun.
