Prior to being called to the Bar, Mr. Gu gained extensive experience in various legal roles. Mr. Gu worked as a senior lawyer with Victoria Police, managing the prosecution of domestic violence cases in a regional office in Victoria. He also spent time as a principal lawyer in private practice. His prior experience further includes a seven-year tenure with the Queensland Police, during which he served as a police prosecutor for five years.
