Gidday, my name’s Scott Lambert - I’m the owner of Mik’s Pet Barn. Mik’s Pet Barn has become a local icon and for good reason! The business has been established for over 12 years now. During this time we have not only served thousands of satisfied customers (with both 2 and 4 legs) but we have also won small business of the year, business of the year, an environmental award and have been voted ‘Best Bird Service’ in Australia by Birdkeeper Magazine. Not bad for a local business hey? I’ve been in the pet industry since I started my first part time job at a local pet store when I was 13, so if you are thinking ‘it must be his passion’, then you would be right! Another great passion of mine is customer service. My staff and I are committed to ensuring your experience in our store is a great one. We believe in selling quality products at a great price and providing excellent service. We actually devote the time to spend time with our suppliers and experts within the Just For Pets buying group so we understand the products you will buy from us and can make informed recommendations. We are specialists in handreared birds, from budgies to macaws and cater for everyone from the pet beginner to the rural hobby farmer. The store stocks a wide range of horse and cattle feed, fertilisers, bulk birdseeds, bulk chook feed, goat and pig food. We also stock a variety of coldwater, tropical, marine fish and inverterbrates species along with a range of aquariums from starter tank kits through to the advanced and of course all the accessories you will need!
