Launched in 2010, Miisel Natural Australia specializes in native Australian botanical skincare products developed from natural plant extracts and ingredients. The company was set up by Mimi and Sel Hardwick, whose interest in botanical skincare products grew after witnessing the benefits for many skin conditions while working in this industry. After doing some extensive research, Sel discovered how the skin can benefit from the application of our native Australian essential oils and liquid extracts. The Kakadu Plum, Lilli Pilli and Quandong extracts in particular have been found to contain healing and anti-bacterial properties. Over the years, they gathered valuable feedback from customer surveys on their existing products and other types of products that can cater to their needs. The product line has since expanded to more than 20 products consisting skincare, body care, hair care, lip balm and an upcoming range of mineral make-up. The range also includes a natural pet wash product that is popular among pet-lovers. Miisel Natural currently operates at markets located in Brisbane and Gold Coast on a weekly basis and has an online store that offers worldwide shipping for customers.
