Michael Safar is the founder of SAFORE, a Qualified Property Investment Adviser (QPIA®) and licensed real estate professional across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. With experience dating back to 2009, Michael helps Australians make informed property investment decisions and build lasting wealth with purpose.

During his first decade, Michael worked concurrently across residential property investment, mortgage broking and financial planning, including SMSF strategy. This breadth of experience gave him a genuine 360 degree perspective and taught him that property cannot be considered separately from cash flow, borrowing capacity, holding costs, risk, family priorities and long term plans.

Financial planning developed both the art and discipline of seeing the whole picture before making any recommendation. Lending provided a practical understanding of finance structure, serviceability and future borrowing capacity. Property investment brought these perspectives together through strategy, market research, property selection and acquisition.

From 2019, Michael focused his client work exclusively on property investment. Between 2019 and 2023, he also worked with Deloitte in quality assurance, reviewing complex financial advice files, supporting documentation and process. This strengthened the judgement, attention to detail and accountability he brings to every client strategy.

Michael founded SAFORE in 2023 to provide one integrated process combining property investment strategy, national market research, property sourcing and buyer’s agent services.

His approach begins with the person, not the property. Michael first understands each client’s goals, financial position, family priorities, comfort with risk and future plans before considering what or where to buy. He then leads the research, sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and acquisition of quality residential investment properties across Australia.

Michael does not believe in buying quickly, following market noise or accumulating property without purpose. Every property must have a clear role within the broader plan, and when the numbers, timing or strategy are not right, the correct decision may be to wait.

Property is a tool, not the final goal. For Michael, lasting wealth is about creating security, providing for family, preparing for retirement, reducing financial pressure and giving people greater freedom and choice. As a father of two, that purpose is personal to him.

The name SAFORE combines the Safar family name with the word “ore”. Just as ore is refined to reveal something valuable, Michael helps clients strengthen and refine their financial foundations into lasting wealth.
