Description
Mercy Care Centre Young is a 26-bed health service providing a range of outpatient, community health and aged care services for the people of Young and surrounding regions.
We specialise in geriatric evaluation and management, rehabilitation and palliative care.
Mercy Care Centre Young offers:
visiting rehabilitation and geriatric specialist assessment
nursing
physiotherapy
occupational therapy
social work
speech pathology
diversional therapy
pastoral care
gentle exercise groups.
We aim to meet each person's assessed needs and we include patient-focused care planning. We work closely with external services to help achieve our patients' and clients' goals. We are a third schedule public hospital affiliated with the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
