Absolute shonkster. This guy quoted me $8800 for a rebuild of the engine on my BT50 and it ended up costing me nearly 19K. He estimated 3 weeks for the job and took 2 1/2 months and had a different excuse every time I called. When I complained he told me to come and collect the car... in bits. In the end after he had finished "reconditioning" my engine I took it home and found that the engine runs rough, has major oil leaks and a terrible fan belt noise. He then charged me another $1600 to fix the oil leaks. Anyone considering using this incompetent mechanic should definitely go and take a look at the state of his workshop first. It's a cesspit with piles of greasy old broken car parts everywhere. Unfortunately I didn't meet him in person before I booked the job otherwise it would have been obvious to steer well clear. I only gave them one star as google doesn't allow you to give them zero.
