MatchWorks Footscray

One star is too high actually. Matchworks is one of the worst JSA's in Australia. They have no jobs listed with them, and have actively ruined workspaces for me. They have done nothing to assist me in looking for work, and when I am doing work they attempt to destroy it for me. One of my references was ruined by them barging in with forms demanding to speak to someone, and another place where I was doing voluntary work also felt intimidated by them forcing themselves in with forms and making demands of my employer. I am actually afraid they will ask for the details where I am currently working and sours relations with this business also. Moreover, not only this they suck up the taxpayers money like a sponge and do not help people find work. Matchworks owns a place called Karingal which they own and make anyone on work for the dole work labour there....i.e. MATCHWORKS OWNS THE PLACE THEY SEND PEOPLE TO IN THE WORK FOR THE DOLE SCHEME ***So they profit immensely from not finding people work**. Essentially keeping people on their books gives them free slave labour. As this business is also operated as a 'charitable trust' they also don't pay tax there. Don't ever expect to find work if you are unlucky enough to end up with Matchworks as your JSA. As it stands they currently trying to pressure me into dropping a full time course paid for by the government.
