MarineSafe Australia Pty Ltd situated in the Port of Brisbane, was established in 1991 and has its premises at Slacks Creek. The company caters for both international and domestic commercial vessels, the charter industry, racing and cruising enthusiasts. The owners/directors of the company, Peter Campbell-Burns & Barbara Ward, have in excess of 20 years experience in the industry. Peter's expertise is in sales and servicing of the liferafts and associated equipment. Barbara oversees the administration of the company which includes continual updating of the comprehensive computer data base of customers and their equipment. In March 1999, Peter Campbell-Burns was appointed the training officer for Zodiac/Bombard liferafts for Australasia, having completed an extensive training course in France at Zodiac's Rochefort plant. In 2004 the company was appointed the Brisbane Agents for Zodiac Inflatable Boats. The company employs three qualified Liferaft Surveyors who regularly attend training courses and are kept abreast of any changes in regulations or technology. Quality Assurance System AS3902 has been put into place which guarantees customers continuity of quality service and products. The staff of Marinesafe pride themselves on service and are always interested in customer feedback to ensure they are providing the best service possible. Customers are always welcome to visit the premises and inspect the servicing facilities. The company currently holds certification for the following brands of S. L. S., non-S. L.
