The company emerged as a result of the involvement of Maddocks and Associates in the design of projects utilising geosynthetics and the need it perceived for a company to offer Turn Key solutions to prospective clients. Today GDT Lining has that capability to take a project from design to completion. GDT’s approach to project management ensures centralised coordination of activities. This ensures work is carried out in an efficient manner. Also due to centralised management of the project it ensures responsibility and accountability are clear. The company has completed geomembrane liner projects for clients of all sizes ranging from the installation of containment ponds to the construction of molasses storages for local sugar mills. This wealth of experience means that no matter the size of a job GDT will have the capability and expertise to deliver. Although based in Far North Queensland with offices in Innisfail and Cairns, GDT have carried out projects in most Australian states as well as Thailand and Papua New Guinea.
