We have a strong commitment to supporting local flower growers and other small businesses in Australia, as well as building our business in a way that treads lightly on the environment. Our philosophy is about being ‘lovely to people, lovely to Australia, and lovely to the planet.
Most people don’t realise that around 40% of flowers sold in Australia are imported from overseas. Flowers are flown in from all over the world, in transit for up to a week, which not only creates a huge carbon footprint but also means nasty pesticides at border control and reduced shelf life.
