Description
Lithgow Medical Clinic was established in July 2008 with the vision of providing a healthcare service that is personal. It is located on the old Lithgow hospital hill site. Bulk billing is available, and the clinic offers the following medical services Corporate Health (includes pre-employment examinations and acute/chronic injury management), Mens Health, Women's Health and Children's Health Services, Skin Cancer Clinic, Vaccintions (icluding flu vaccines), Chronic Health Care Plans, Minor Surgical Procedures, Wound Management, Pathology and a Casualty/Accident Facility.The clinic also has a visiting cardiologist, whereby both stress tests and echiocardiograms are performed on site. A Clinical psychologist is also available.
The clinic has a large treatment room with full time nursing support capable of carrying out minor operations on site. The clinic caters for 6 treating doctors and other medical professionals. No appointments are necessary, walk-in doctors avalible ever
