Description
Lions Clubs are part of community life, in the cities and in the country. Clubs are easily identified by their distinctive Logo, the trademark of the Association, and the 'We Serve'; motto seen on road signs throughout the country.
Membership is open to all people of the community in good standing.
Clubs may either provide service or raise money for their community.
Most of the money raised goes back into the community, either directly or indirectly through National and International Projects.
The Executive Officer is Council's principal staff officer, exercising overall management responsibility for Council's operations.
Company description
The MULTIPLE DISTRICT COUNCIL is the corporate structure which provides an effective administration of the Multiple District.
The duty of Council is to implement Lions Convention resolutions, control the organisation of Lions projects and the Lions Convention, create new initiatives for the growth of Lionism, and to control the finances of the Multiple District.
Each Club belongs to a District who each year elect a District Governor. The Governor is a member of the Council.
The National office is managed by the Executive Officer and the Office Manager. With the staff they manage the administration of the MD201 Districts.
They are there to assist members. They also manage the club supplies and online shop.
