I had to wait at the pump as there was a problem connecting with the pump. I waited till the full forecourt had cleared and after a couple of visual acknowledgements with the attendant. i finally hung up the pump and went to see what the problem was. When i questioned why he had left me standing there without asking the problem, the attendant informed me that all appeared well at his end. When I said that the whole forecourt had emptied and he still had not tried to find out the problem and that he may be the worst customer service person I had ever met, he called me a "piece of shit" and made reference to the way I looked. I have to say I did use some strong language to make the point that he had made no attempt to contact me while I waited at the pump. I stand by my assessment of the young man. He was quite happy to keep waving at me, even though the length of time I waited indicated that there must be a problem. I have since relayed my story to many local people who all speak of inordinate amounts of time wasted waiting to pay or have the pump activated, as the attendant makes coffee. I will never return and I notice that the locals have also stopped going to a once thriving and pleasant place to buy our fuel
