Description

Leichhardt Counselling and Psychotherapy offers support to explore personal challenges related to self-acceptance, compulsive or anxiety-driven behaviours, stress, relationships or patterns such as perfectionism or people-pleasing.

Support is offered to navigate through unexpected life changes or challenges, rediscover or integrate your spirituality, or to discover a greater sense of direction and purpose in life.

The primary approach used is Internal Family Systems (IFS), a leading evidence-based model of therapy that incorporates elements of Somatic Therapy, Hakomi, Family Systems, Mindfulness and Neuroscience.

Support is offered for ways to live as fully as possible and connect with your inherent self-worth by learning to welcome all parts of yourself. The sessions facilitate openness to growth, increasing capacity to give and receive love and as a result the ease to live life more fully.

Internal Family Systems, a holistic approach is used which recognises the need to integrate the emotional, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of ourselves to lead a fulfilling and enriching life. It is normal to experience times where one or more of these areas gets off balance and causes or highlights difficulties that we struggle to navigate.
