Laundry King is a modern 24/7 self-service laundromat at 140 Melville Rd, Brunswick West. The shop is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can wash whenever it suits you, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Choose from 9kg washers at $7, 14kg washers at $10 and 18kg washers at $13. The larger machines are suited to doona covers, blankets, towels and bulky household loads. Drying is $1 for 6 minutes in the 14kg dryers and $1 for 5 minutes in the 21kg dryers.

Pay by tapping a debit or credit card, or use coins. No app, account or membership is needed, and an on-site change machine turns larger notes into coins.

While you wait there is free Wi-Fi, phone charging points, air conditioning, and vending for snacks, drinks, detergent and softener. There is also an Amazon Locker on site, so you can collect a parcel while your washing runs.
