Original review written 28/12/2016, this is further details as to the VERY VERY VERY shoddy job completed on my Caravan by King Avenue Marine & Caravan Repairs Rained during this week - SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE - THE CARAVAN LEAKED - NOT SURPRISED Have now had to re seal several areas where the Pop Up Top joins the Caravan This Company - King Avenue Marine & Caravan Repairs IS NOT A MEMBER of The Caravan Trade and Industries Association of Victoria Date of this review - 21/01/2017

"WITHOUT PREJUDICE" This review is being written as I am absolutely disgusted at the way I was treated by this Company when I had my Caravan at this Company for repairs My caravan was taken to this Company on 17/10/2016 to have a new Pop Up Top fitted, was advised by Owner of this Company that this would take about 4 weeks, would keep me informed at progress of work being done As I had not heard from this Company on 16/11/2016 I decided to call into this Company to see how things were progressing, I found that my Caravan had been badly damaged near the entrance door, nothing re the damage was said to me by the Owner of this Company, work had not even been started on my Caravan Numerous phone calls to this Company - to no avail - as to when my Caravan would be ready - sent -e-mail on 25/11/2016 - terse reply was - "Has been ordered, has not arrived, will call you when it is ready" 07/12/2016 still had not heard from this Company, rang Company, was advised that my Caravan will be ready next week - will call you when it is ready Sent another e-mail 16/12/2016 to this Company - another terse reply - "Your caravan is ready to be picked up today if you would prefer" 19/12/2016 picked up my Caravan - "NOT HAPPY JAN" - damage near the door had been fixed in a fashion, fortunately there is no structural damage to the Caravan - underneath etc - one cupboard inside the Caravan has been completely been ripped off the wall, badly scratched, bench tops had been scratched and split - with the Pop Up Top there are a lot of gaps where light penetrates between van roof and top At no time during the time my caravan was at this Company did the Owner did not say anything to me re the damage to my Caravan, not did the Owner say anything re the damage to the Caravan when I picked the Caravan up - damage was extensive All Owner of this Company did was complain how difficult the job had been etc etc etc Should get a refund Took a total of 9 weeks - know of people who have taken their Caravans to this Company, have had to wait for up to 3 months plus for repairs to be completed VERY VERY VERY SHODDY JOB
